Smashing Bottle Tech Style using Nugsmasher® 160 Micron 7gram Bags. 1375-2292 psi is our recommended pressure on the gauge, so this extraction we went right to 2000 psi. While building pressure the key is to do it as slow as possible so that all the material reaches the same temperature when we reach our desired pressure. As the rosin is extracting you may start to lose pressure, this should be monitored so that pressure is maintained throughout the extraction. When collecting rosin it is best to do it on a cold plate, we use the Nugsmasher® Collection plate to make collecting easy. With this extraction we got a 19% yield on one of the strains, on the other we got 24%. Using a lower temperature machine we press out our rosin to make a nice presentable coin puck.
