We strongly recommend using Nugsmasher brand bags as all of our surface area calculations for each machine are based on those bags.  Correct surface pressure would be between 900-1100 psi surface pressure which you can use our calculator tool to help convert to gauge pressure. Also the correct surface area is important to figure out by the square inch footprint your custom bag is taking up on the plates, use the calculations we have listed as a starting point for 1 or 2 of the 3.5, 7 or 14 gram bag to help with how much surface area your bag is using. Also for future knowledge our Nugsmasher Touch has the ability to custom configure aftermarket bag sizes to tell you exactly the pressure to use as well.
